At each JOY Place we have a chance to share our news. Here are some of the recent 'joys'.

WEDDINGS!

Many congratulations to members David and Debbie, and to our new leaders Toby and Elizabeth, on their marriages in the summer!

BIRTHDAYS

We celebrate the latest birthdays at JOY Place. Congratulations to Joseph on his 21st!

SNOWDROPS BRING HOPE!

At JP on 1 February Toby asked us what we are hoping for this year. We put a candle next to the cross as we thought about it. Toby had brought along a few snowdrops. He told us that some churches celebrate Candlemass this weekend (remembering when baby Jesus was brought to the temple by his parents), and that another name for snowdrops is 'Candlemass bells' as they flower at this time.
So when we see snowdrops we can think of our hopes, and the hope that Jesus brings.
